As we look back on a year of education, employee development, and implementing Workforce Edge at an expanding roster of partners, it’s useful to reflect on a sampling of recent success stories.

We spoke with professionals at a variety of companies to get their insights on the impact Workforce Edge has made—both for their employees and their organizations overall.

How easy was it to get started using Workforce Edge?

“Our transition to Workforce Edge was very smooth, not just for those on the project but also for our employees who take advantage of the benefit. The implementation team answered all of our questions, held regular calls to keep us to the timeline, provided communications for rolling it out, and much more to make it a successful launch. The dashboard is very easy to use but if we do have questions arise, our service team is very quick to respond.” – Andrea Ritter, Global Rewards Manager, Godiva Chocolatier

“With the testing and material provided such as job aids and videos, the Workforce Edge implementation process was easy to understand and intuitive.” – Karla Arriaga, Benefits Analyst, Blue Yonder

How has the platform made a difference in benefit utilization at your organization?

“We’ve had tuition assistance and reimbursement at Baptist Health for quite some time, but utilization was frustrating. The Workforce Edge partnership changed the game dramatically. It took our processes from being very manual and cumbersome to an easy-to-follow automated process.” – Katelyn Boyd, Assistant Director of Employee Experience, Baptist Health

What’s different about using Workforce Edge, compared with other approaches to education benefits management?

"We had a very manual process for education benefits—largely managed in spreadsheets. Through Workforce Edge, we’re able to automate some of the requests in the tuition reimbursement process, which is a huge lift from an administrative perspective. Now they don’t have to send emails with attachments and can use the Workforce Edge platform to manage the paperwork part of their education journey, which is a great experience—Workforce Edge offers our Crew a centralized system with all of the information and resources they need in one place. They don’t have to look in several places and piece information together about their education benefits and which programs they may be interested in. In the past, our Crewmembers may have looked online and then stopped their search. Now they see education options and will continue to explore, and we love that.” – Ashley Young, former Benefits Manager, Raising Cane’s

How would you summarize using Workforce Edge so far?

"[Workforce Edge] helped us get going and made the process really easy. With Workforce Edge, we create admin and individual dashboards to manage in-network and out-of-network academic opportunities. We started to see an uptick in students using tuition-aligned pricing, but we also had students in several non-network programs, so being able to find a solution to manage it all seamlessly and easily was really nice. When you’re dealing with a company’s people teams, the ones who handle benefits, reimbursement forms, and getting the info out to everyone, they’re always busy and stretched thin. So, any tool that can make their jobs easier, more intuitive, and that takes care of the heavy lifting is great. That’s what Workforce Edge has done for us.” – LaRissa O'Neal, Director of Learning and Development, Americas, RS Group (formerly Allied Electronics)
